The National Specialist Prosthetic Service
The Scottish Government has provided funds to enable the centres to provide specialist prosthetic limbs where strict eligibility criteria have been met. These could be multi-processor knees, sporting prostheses, upper limb, or foot and ankle that had previously only been available to military veterans. Funding is jointly co-ordinated by WestMARC (Glasgow) and SMART (Lothian).
